Organisation & Location: Social Scientist at CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems – Agricultural Landscapes Program, St Lucia, Brisbane

Current Activities: Social Scientist for ACIAR projects in Indonesia on use of forages for cattle fattening and ecological methods of rat control in lowland rice, National Land and Water Audit developing socio-economic and biophysical indicators for resilience in broad acre cropping communities using a livelihoods framework, Qld Murray Darling Committee project examining role of social networks for the uptake of Environmental Management Systems, Scoping project for Cotton CRC on degree of coordination of Natural Resource Management policies affecting cotton croppers.

Qualifications: BA Honours (1st Class) jointly in Schools of Sociology and Science and technology Studies, PhD in Political Sociology – both degrees awarded by UNSW
